Cosmetics

Cosmetic treatments are treatments that are not medically necessary. The costs of cosmetic treatments are not (or usually not) covered by health insurance. The Wetering Medical Centre specializes in the following cosmetic treatments:

  • Botulinum
  • Fillers
  • Upper eyelid surgery
  • Lower eyelid surgery
  • Removal of moles, pigment spots and seborrhoeic keratoses

If you have not had any cosmetic treatments before, we recommend that you make an appointment for an intake interview. Our physicians will assess your skin and provide you with advice as to what may be the best treatment for you and what to expect from treatment. It is up to you whether you want to receive treatment right away or consider our advice first before taking a decision. Please note: cosmetic treatments are usually not covered by health insurance. You therefore do not require a referral note from your GP for these treatments. We will send you an invoice after the consultation or treatment.

The cosmetic treatments mentioned above do not fall under the ZKN Quality Mark of Stichting Dermatologisch Centrum Wetering, but under Praktijk voor Cosmetische en Esthetische Chirurgie Weteringklinieken B.V. This company charges VAT on its invoices.
