Wetering Medical Centre specializes in treating skin diseases, skin ageing and cosmetic skin problems.
If you have not had any cosmetic treatments before, we recommend that you make an appointment for an intake interview. Our physicians will assess your skin and provide you with advice as to what may be the best treatment for you and what to expect from treatment. It is up to you whether you want to receive treatment right away or consider our advice first before taking a decision.
Cosmetic treatments are usually not covered by health insurance. You therefore do not require a referral note from your GP for these treatments.

What can I expect during my first visit in the cosmetology department?
During the first visit, the doctor will discuss your wishes and expectations. The possibilities, possible risks and there is room to ask questions will be discussed. On this basis, you will receive a personal recommendation.
Is the first visit non-committal?
After the first visit, you will have plenty of time to think about your doctor’s advice and proposed treatment. You can still decide not to undergo treatment after the first visit. The fee for an intake for treatment with fillers or botulinum toxin is €45, which will be deducted from your first treatment.
Do I need to bring anything to the first visit?
Please bring a valid ID and your insurance card. If you have had previous cosmetic treatments, it may be helpful to bring information or photos of them.
Will my insurance cover the first cosmetic visit?
